How It All Began
Lions Property Management was founded by Nicole and Jay Ford, who met in Swansea in 2020 and soon shared a vision for building something together. After launching the company in 2022, they brought it to life in Liverpool in 2023—drawn by the city’s energy and thriving rental market. Today, Lions Property Management specialises in rent-to-rent strategy, HMO management, and serviced accommodation in Liverpool.
Before founding Lions Property Management, Jay studied business but worked as a tradesman, specialising in painting and gardening – skills that still come in handy today when maintaining properties.
Nicole holds two bachelor’s degrees (Economics and Marketing) from universities in Poland and Wales and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration. She previously ran a successful dog grooming business, which she has since transformed into a e-commerce platform, offering digital products and marketing services to small businesses.
Together, Nicole and Jay combine practical skills, academic knowledge, and entrepreneurial spirit to deliver outstanding service to both landlords and tenants.
